The coolest place to stay in a very cool small town! Fayetteville is an outdoor adventurer's paradise and staying at Lafayette Flats is like sleeping in an art gallery. Impeccably clean, well appointed and comfortable, it is quite simply one of the best and most unique lodgings anywhere. Conveniently located on the main street through downtown Fayetteville and a short walk to several great local eateries and watering holes. The building is on the Historic Register and was recently renovated to create a fantastic mix of old architecture and modern design and comfort.
The Flats are HUGE! High ceilings, enormous windows, beautiful natural light as well as fun décor lights. Lights over the bed and even an APPLAUSE light beside the bed. All three rooms plus the entry way were all larger than any suite at a major luxury resort. The rooms have every comfort and appointment you could ask for.
Lafayette Flats in Fayetteville WV is a true artist’s haven! First of all the location is amazing, right across from the beautiful courthouse in the center of one of America’s “coolest towns”. From the flats you can walk to several outdoor shops, art galleries and amazing eclectic eateries such as Secret Sandwich Society “SSS”, Cathedral Café, Pies and Pints and more. If you came to bike or hike just leave your car parked all weekend, climbing…maybe drive a mile if your lazy, lol. Once in the door you will be amazed! Quality everything, cute bicycle wheel message board area with photos and flyers of local events, huge built in bookcase filled with great timeless books as well as local writers, board games, cards, fun stuff and all for you to use and just put back when you leave. You may never want to leave BTW!
Now this is where it gets fun! The artistic details in the highly eclectic décor will blow your mind. The Flats have so much character and charm you could stay for a week and still be finding new treasures. Seriously I looked around for an hour before carrying the rest of my things in. Whether its outdoor adventure or a romantic getaway you seek Lafayette Flats will deliver magical memories.
Its a pretty cool place to have fun and relax with a couple friends.
